# Linkubit > Linkubit is an AI salesperson for WhatsApp, email, Instagram and Messenger. It answers every customer, qualifies them, quotes from your catalogue and hands your team a priced deal. Free to start, live in minutes. Linkubit is a multi-tenant, AI-native revenue platform for businesses that sell through conversations. It is built and operated by Adhiti Consulting Pty Ltd, runs in Mumbai, India, and is aimed first at Indian small and mid-sized businesses whose sales happen on WhatsApp. ## What it does - **One inbox.** WhatsApp, email, Instagram DM and Facebook Messenger in a single queue, with ownership, waiting times and a one-click takeover from the assistant. Email leaves from the business's own Gmail, Google Workspace or Zoho mailbox, as its own address, and replies come back to the thread. - **An assistant that qualifies.** It asks the questions you define, writes the answers onto the record, and hands the conversation to a person explicitly — then stops until it is handed back. - **Goals, not just a persona.** You define several conversation goals — each with the fields it needs to capture, how to behave while pursuing it, and the tools it may use. One steers at a time; the rest stay open and keep recording whatever the conversation gives them. The assistant moves between them when the conversation changes shape (they push back, go quiet, ask to see it) and moves back when it recovers. Switching is a gated tool call, written into the transcript, and nothing already captured is lost either way. - **Rules enforced outside the model.** A gate before any tool call, a gate before any outbound message, and a verifier on every reply. A rule is code, not a line in a prompt. - **Outbound.** Audiences built from your own customer graph, email and WhatsApp template campaigns, and sequences that cancel every remaining step for a person the moment they reply on any channel. - **Pipeline.** A lead lifecycle and stages that refuse illegal moves, scoring you can read rule by rule, and approvals for anything that costs money. - **Attribution.** Revenue traced back over the contact's own timeline from the first ad click, and frozen at the close so history does not move under a model change. - **Paid media.** Meta and Google ad accounts connected, spend and leads read in and joined to the customer graph, qualified leads and won deals reported back to the network. Linkubit also builds campaigns on both — Meta lead generation, click-to-WhatsApp, click-to-Instagram, traffic and engagement; Google Search, Performance Max and Demand Gen — every one created paused, so nothing spends until a person switches it on. - **Payments in the chat.** A customer pays inside WhatsApp (UPI or card) or through a link; the amount is always the catalogue price, the money lands in the business's own gateway account, and a paid order closes the deal. - **Prospecting.** A business connects its own Apollo.io account and searches, enriches and adds prospects from inside Linkubit, spending its own Apollo credits; a search stores nothing. - **CRM sync.** A business that already lives in monday.com or Zoho CRM connects it: leads and deals land on its boards or modules (optionally waiting for a person's approval), a note with the conversation summary is added at each milestone, edits to the business's own fields come back, and a Won status in the CRM closes the deal in Linkubit at its value. A CRM edit never changes a contact's name, phone or email. - **Agencies and businesses with branches.** An account sits above workspaces: one workspace per client or branch, each on its own ordinary plan, paid on one invoice with one shared credit pool and an optional monthly cap per workspace. The account's Meta logins are connected once and each number, Page, Instagram account and ad account is assigned to one workspace. Account roles (Owner, Billing, Manager, Viewer) run the console and never open a workspace; access to a workspace is granted per person. - **Switching from another tool.** A number already on the WhatsApp Business Platform with another provider migrates through Embedded Signup with its green tick and quality rating; templates on the same WhatsApp Business Account are read in from Meta; contacts, companies and leads import from CSV or Excel with a consent basis. Old message history is not imported. - **Set-up by description.** You describe the business, add documents and connect channels; the assistant, its rules, the qualification fields, the scoring and the pipeline are configured from that rather than built. ## What it deliberately does not do - **No business-initiated messaging on Instagram or Messenger.** Meta permits none, and offers no template escape, so both channels are reply-only. A campaign on either is unstorable by design. - **Ad campaigns are created paused, and only in the shapes listed above.** A campaign type outside that set is refused, and nothing Linkubit creates spends until a person switches it on. - **It never holds money.** Payments go to the business's own Razorpay or WhatsApp payment configuration; Linkubit holds no gateway key for the in-chat rail and is never in the flow of funds. - **No public REST API.** Integration is monday.com and Zoho CRM (HubSpot and Salesforce are not connected), signed outbound webhooks on the Scale plan, CSV and spreadsheet import, the Meta and Google ad accounts, Apollo for prospecting and Razorpay for payment links. - **Identity merges are deterministic only.** Two records are merged on an exact identifier match, never on a similarity score, and every merge is reversible. ## Pricing at a glance - **Free** — free: 30 credits a month, 1 seat. One credit is one AI reply. ### Product - [Conversations](https://app.linkubit.com/product/conversations): Four channels in one queue, with owners, waiting times, collision detection, and a handover between the assistant and a person that is explicit in both directions. - [Growth](https://app.linkubit.com/product/growth): Audiences built from your own customer graph, sequences that stop the moment someone replies, and Meta and Google ad accounts read in, attributed, and used to build paused campaigns. - [Sales](https://app.linkubit.com/product/sales): The questions a deal must answer, asked by the assistant and written onto the record; a lifecycle whose stages refuse illegal moves; scoring you can read rule by rule. - [Intelligence](https://app.linkubit.com/product/intelligence): Cost per qualified lead rather than cost per form fill: revenue traced over the contact's own timeline from the first ad click, and frozen at the close. - [Control](https://app.linkubit.com/product/control): The agent answers from what you gave it, follows rules enforced in code rather than in a prompt, and asks a person before anything that spends money. ### Features One page per feature, by the name people search for. Each says what the feature does, the rule in code behind it, and what it costs. - [AI sales agent](https://app.linkubit.com/features/ai-sales-agent): An AI salesperson that answers every enquiry within a minute on WhatsApp, email and Instagram, asks only for what is still missing, quotes only prices from your catalogue, and hands the conversation to a person when a rule says so. Set up from your website in minutes. - [WhatsApp campaigns](https://app.linkubit.com/features/whatsapp-campaigns): Send approved WhatsApp templates to an audience built from your own customer records. Consent, suppression and missing numbers are checked across the whole audience before anything goes out, the number's messaging limit is respected, a reply stops the remaining steps, and the bill is forecast before Meta sends it. - [Smart follow-ups](https://app.linkubit.com/features/smart-follow-ups): When a customer goes quiet, Linkubit follows up at intervals you set — 1 hour, 6 hours and 24 hours by default — with a message written from what was actually discussed. A reply at any point stops the rest; three unanswered nudges mark the lead cold and tell a person. - [Lead scoring](https://app.linkubit.com/features/lead-scoring): Every lead's score shows its working: budget, timeline, city, intent — each rule with the points it added or took away. Behaviour is scored beside the answers, worked out fresh each time. A rule can be a clause over a field or a sentence in plain words the assistant answers on its own turn. - [Click-to-WhatsApp ads](https://app.linkubit.com/features/whatsapp-ads): Connect Meta and Google ad accounts, read spend and leads in daily beside the deals they became, build click-to-WhatsApp, lead-form, Search and Performance Max campaigns from inside Linkubit — every one created paused — and tell the networks which leads actually qualified so the next campaign hunts for those. - [WhatsApp payments](https://app.linkubit.com/features/whatsapp-payments): When a customer is ready, a payment card with your catalogue price appears in the WhatsApp chat; they pay by UPI or card and the deal is marked won with the revenue recorded. Outside WhatsApp, or when the chat window has closed, a Razorpay link from your own account does the same. Linkubit never holds the money. - [WhatsApp CRM](https://app.linkubit.com/features/whatsapp-crm): Every customer is one record across WhatsApp, email, Instagram and Messenger, with fields the assistant fills in as they talk, a lifecycle whose stages refuse illegal moves, a pipeline of deals priced from your catalogue, tasks and meetings, and roles that decide who sees which records. - [Shared team inbox](https://app.linkubit.com/features/shared-inbox): One queue for WhatsApp, email, Instagram DM and Messenger, with an owner and a waiting time on every conversation, a warning when two people open the same customer, the 24-hour window shown before you type, approved templates in the composer, and a handover between the assistant and a person that is explicit both ways. - [Email campaigns](https://app.linkubit.com/features/email-campaigns): Sequences sent from a domain you verify with DKIM, SPF and DMARC through a guided flow, in your workspace's own layout, with a reply address the product can actually receive on. A reply stops the remaining steps; bounces and complaints pause sending before a mailbox provider does; an out-of-office is never answered. - [WhatsApp Business API](https://app.linkubit.com/features/whatsapp-business-api): Connect a WhatsApp Business API number through Meta's own sign-up flow, or bring one that is already registered. Templates sync with Meta, the 24-hour window is shown before you type, the number's messaging limit is respected, and Meta bills your account directly — Linkubit adds nothing to the per-message rate. - [WhatsApp catalogue](https://app.linkubit.com/features/whatsapp-catalogue): Products with your own fields, a price, a photo, a video or a PDF, and a long description the assistant answers from. A price in a reply has to come from a product it looked up on that turn; the photo goes out only for a product it actually read; a deal opens at the list price. No invented numbers, no wrong picture. - [Hindi & voice notes](https://app.linkubit.com/features/hindi-voice-notes): A customer sends a voice note in Hindi or Hinglish; Linkubit transcribes it into the thread, reads it as an answer to the question it asked, and replies in the language the customer used. Built for India first, not translated after. - [AI rules & guardrails](https://app.linkubit.com/features/ai-guardrails): Write a rule in plain words — "never give a price before you know their budget" — and it is enforced outside the model: a gate before any tool call, a gate before any outbound message, a verifier on every reply. Anything that spends waits for a person; the agent may draft a change to its own rules and never enact one. ### Solutions One page per industry, and one per thing a conversation is usually for. The assistant is configured from a description of the business, not built per industry — the page for an industry with no page says how. - [Freight & logistics](https://app.linkubit.com/solutions/logistics): Freight qualifies on route, mode, commodity, volume and timeline — no product catalogue needed. [CA, legal & consulting firms](https://app.linkubit.com/solutions/professional-services): A client enquiry answered in a minute, qualified on the matter, the entity and the urgency before a consultation is booked, the document list sent and chased, filing and compliance deadlines reminded, and the fee collected in the chat — with no advice given by the assistant. - [Can't find your industry?](https://app.linkubit.com/solutions/any-business): No page for your industry? The assistant is not built per industry. You describe what you sell and what a conversation should achieve, and it is configured from that — the questions it asks, the rule that stops it quoting early, the messages it sends. ### Use cases - [Use cases](https://app.linkubit.com/solutions/use-cases): Seven things almost every business does in a conversation — qualify an enquiry, book a slot, price a brief, confirm an order, collect a payment, follow up, sell from a list — and how the same AI salesperson handles each, whatever the industry. - [Lead qualification](https://app.linkubit.com/solutions/use-cases/lead-qualification): Every enquiry answered within a minute and asked the questions that decide whether it is worth a rep's afternoon — budget, timeline, requirement, decision-maker — written onto the lead as it answers, and handed over complete. - [Appointment booking](https://app.linkubit.com/solutions/use-cases/appointment-booking): An enquiry turned into a booked slot on WhatsApp — times offered inside the hours you set, the confirmation sent with the address and what to bring, two reminders that ask for a YES, and a no-show turned into a reschedule. - [Quotes & estimates](https://app.linkubit.com/solutions/use-cases/quotes-and-estimates): A rate request or an estimate enquiry answered in a minute, the details a price depends on captured before anyone prices it, the quote sent with the number in the text and a validity date, and the follow-up that turns a quote into a booking. - [Order updates & COD](https://app.linkubit.com/solutions/use-cases/order-updates-and-cod): Every order confirmed, every COD order confirmed before it ships, every shipment updated in the thread, and a delivery attempt or a return handled by the same assistant that took the order — with the customer's questions answered from the order itself. - [Payment collection](https://app.linkubit.com/solutions/use-cases/payment-collection): A payment request sent in the chat at the catalogue price, paid by UPI or card without leaving WhatsApp, a receipt written into the thread, and the balance, instalment or renewal reminded before it is due — from your own payment account. - [Follow-ups & re-engagement](https://app.linkubit.com/solutions/use-cases/follow-ups): The quote that went quiet, the visit that was not booked, the lead that said 'next month' — followed up on a schedule you set, with a message written from what they told you, stopped the instant they reply, and never sent to someone who did not opt in. - [Catalogue selling](https://app.linkubit.com/solutions/use-cases/catalogue-selling): Product questions answered from your catalogue in a minute, the right item recommended and its picture sent, the price quoted from the list and nowhere else, sizes and availability confirmed, and the order taken and paid in the same thread. ### Company - [Integrations](https://app.linkubit.com/integrations): Everything a Linkubit workspace connects to today — four messaging channels, two ad networks, Apollo, monday.com and Zoho CRM, two payment rails, webhooks — and the CRMs and stores planned next. - [Security](https://app.linkubit.com/security): How Linkubit isolates one customer's data from another's, where it is stored, how long it is kept, and what happens when you leave. - [About](https://app.linkubit.com/about): What Linkubit is, who it is for, and how it is being built. - [Brand](https://app.linkubit.com/brand): How to say and write Linkubit, the logo files, the legal entity behind it, and a paragraph you can quote. For directories, partners and press. - [What's new](https://app.linkubit.com/changelog): What changed in the product and when, in plain words, newest first. With a feed. - [Contact](https://app.linkubit.com/contact): Talk to us about whether Linkubit fits the way your business sells. ### Guides Written for people evaluating WhatsApp for sales in India. Prices in them are checked against Meta's own rate card on the date each guide shows. - [WhatsApp API pricing in India](https://app.linkubit.com/guides/whatsapp-business-api-pricing-india): Meta's per-message rates for India in rupees — marketing, utility, authentication and service — with GST, volume tiers, three worked examples before and after 1 October 2026, and the mark-ups to look for in a WhatsApp tool's pricing. - [Service message pricing, October 2026](https://app.linkubit.com/guides/whatsapp-service-message-pricing-october-2026): From 1 October 2026 Meta charges for every free-form reply inside the 24-hour window — ₹0.115 a message in India, no volume tiers — and for utility templates sent inside it. What stays free, three worked months, and the five things to change this week. - [WhatsApp API providers in India](https://app.linkubit.com/guides/whatsapp-business-api-providers-india): Who provides the WhatsApp Business API in India, what a BSP and a Tech Provider each are, and a ranked list on the four things that decide the bill: the subscription, whether Meta's rate is marked up, what the AI does, and whether you can leave. Linkubit is the one we make, listed first. - [Wati vs AiSensy vs Interakt](https://app.linkubit.com/guides/wati-vs-aisensy-vs-interakt): The three WhatsApp platforms Indian small businesses shortlist most, from their own pricing pages: what each plan costs, how each bills Meta's messages, what the AI is, which channels and connectors they carry, and who each one suits. - [Cheapest WhatsApp Business API in India](https://app.linkubit.com/guides/cheapest-whatsapp-business-api-india): There is no cheaper WhatsApp than Meta's price list; what differs between providers is the mark-up and the subscription. The cheapest legitimate path, a month costed at three sizes, and the cheap options that get a number banned. - [WhatsApp automation for business](https://app.linkubit.com/guides/whatsapp-automation-for-business): What WhatsApp automation is on the Business API, the order to automate in — first reply, qualification, quote, follow-ups, reminders, campaigns — the Meta rate and consent rule for each flow, where automation should stop, and the tools that do it. - [Is the WhatsApp Business API free?](https://app.linkubit.com/guides/is-whatsapp-business-api-free): Access is free; messages are not. Meta's per-message rates for India, what a provider's subscription and mark-up add, what a free trial and a free plan each mean, and what Linkubit's ₹0 plan includes. - [Meta Business Agent vs an AI salesperson](https://app.linkubit.com/guides/meta-business-agent-vs-ai-salesperson): Meta's own AI now answers customers inside the WhatsApp Business app for free, and bills API businesses per token. What it does, what it leaves undone, what it costs, and the point at which a small business needs a salesperson rather than an answerer. - [WhatsApp Business app vs API](https://app.linkubit.com/guides/whatsapp-business-app-vs-api): The free app and the API are different products. What each one can and cannot do — team inbox, automation, templates, numbers, the catalogue — what the API costs, and the four moments a business outgrows the app. - [One inbox for every channel](https://app.linkubit.com/guides/shared-inbox-whatsapp-instagram-email): Customers write on four channels and expect one conversation. What a shared inbox has to do — ownership, the 24-hour window, handover, collision — and what Meta's rules mean for Instagram and Messenger. - [Speed to lead on WhatsApp](https://app.linkubit.com/guides/whatsapp-lead-follow-up): A property or freight enquiry answered in a minute is a conversation; one answered in the morning is a lead someone else met. What to say in the first message, what to ask, and how to follow up without becoming noise. - [Getting the WhatsApp Business API](https://app.linkubit.com/guides/how-to-get-whatsapp-business-api-india): The API is free from Meta; you pay per message. What a business needs before it starts, the Embedded Signup steps, business verification and the 250-a-day limit, migrating a number from another provider, and the ways it usually goes wrong. - [WhatsApp blue tick verification](https://app.linkubit.com/guides/whatsapp-blue-tick-verification-india): The green tick became blue in 2024. Free on the WhatsApp Business Platform, part of the Meta Verified subscription on the app. What Meta looks for — verification, a matching name, a public footprint — how to apply, and why it does not raise your messaging limit. - [Template approval and rejections](https://app.linkubit.com/guides/whatsapp-template-approval-rejection-reasons): Marketing, utility and authentication, what each costs in India, and the five rejections — category mismatch, unreadable variables, URL shorteners, spammy wording, disallowed content — with the fix for each and what happens after approval. - [The 24-hour window](https://app.linkubit.com/guides/whatsapp-24-hour-window-explained): Inside the window any message, free-form — charged per reply since 1 October 2026; outside it a template, charged. The 72-hour free entry point from Click-to-WhatsApp ads, what resets the clock, and five ways the rule should change how you sell. - [Quality rating and messaging limits](https://app.linkubit.com/guides/whatsapp-quality-rating-messaging-limits): 250, 1,000, 10,000, 100,000, unlimited — how a number moves up, why it stops, what blocks and reports do to the rating, and the five habits that keep it green. Limits are per Business portfolio since late 2025. - [Opt-in and consent rules](https://app.linkubit.com/guides/whatsapp-opt-in-consent-rules-india): Meta requires opt-in for any message you start; the DPDP Act 2023 and 2025 Rules require consent that is specific, informed and withdrawable. What each message needs, how to collect consent that holds up, and why WhatsApp sits outside TRAI's SMS rules today. - [BSP vs Cloud API](https://app.linkubit.com/guides/whatsapp-bsp-vs-cloud-api): Meta hosts the API for free; a BSP resells it and usually hosts software on top; a tool on the Cloud API connects your number through Embedded Signup with no reseller in between. The questions to ask any provider before connecting a number. - [Click-to-WhatsApp ads](https://app.linkubit.com/guides/click-to-whatsapp-ads-guide): A Meta ad whose button opens a WhatsApp chat: free for 72 hours, attributed by the referral token, no landing page to lose people on. How to set one up, what to measure, and why the ad budget is wasted without a reply in the first minute. - [AI sales agent vs chatbot](https://app.linkubit.com/guides/ai-sales-agent-vs-whatsapp-chatbot): A chatbot follows a flow and fails outside it. An assistant answers from documents. An agent pursues a goal — qualify, quote, book — with rules enforced outside the model. Which one a business needs, and the failure mode of each. - [Rules an AI cannot break](https://app.linkubit.com/guides/rules-an-ai-agent-cannot-break): A rule in a prompt holds most of the time. A rule in code — a gate before each tool call, a gate before each send, a verifier on each reply — holds every time. What that looks like, the rule effect that does nothing, and why the gate fails closed. - [Qualifying leads on WhatsApp](https://app.linkubit.com/guides/qualifying-leads-on-whatsapp): Why quote after the brief, not before. The questions by industry — freight, property, coaching, clinics, D2C, travel — how to ask them two at a time in the customer's language, and why the answers belong on a record rather than in the chat. - [AI to human handover](https://app.linkubit.com/guides/when-ai-should-hand-over-to-a-human): Hand over on a rule — a topic, a value, a missing capability, sentiment, a flood — before the reply, not after a wrong one. What the person needs to see, why the agent stays silent until handed back, and the ten percent that should be a person's. - [Hindi voice notes](https://app.linkubit.com/guides/hindi-voice-notes-whatsapp-business): Voice notes are the most detailed and the last-answered messages a business gets. Transcribe on arrival, keep the transcript on the message, reply in the language spoken, extract the facts, and never strip Devanagari's vowel signs. - [AI and catalogue prices](https://app.linkubit.com/guides/ai-quoting-prices-from-catalogue): A document out of date, a customer's number agreed to, a sum the model did, a listed price called custom — each happened. One authority, attached in code; a verifier on every reply; deals and payment requests priced from the catalogue, never the chat. - [UPI payments on WhatsApp](https://app.linkubit.com/guides/collect-upi-payments-on-whatsapp): The customer taps Pay on an order card and the money lands in your own gateway account. What it needs — a Platform number, a payment configuration on Razorpay or PayU — what the customer sees, when a link is better, and why the amount is always a catalogue price. - [What is a WhatsApp CRM](https://app.linkubit.com/guides/what-is-a-whatsapp-crm): Software that puts WhatsApp conversations on customer records so a team can share the number, see who is waiting, and follow up without losing anything. The seven things it has to do, the difference between an inbox and a revenue platform, and the two bills. - [Instagram DM automation rules](https://app.linkubit.com/guides/instagram-dm-automation-rules-business): Replies only — no business-initiated messages, no broadcasts, no templates. 24 hours for any reply, seven days for a human-written one, 1,000 bytes per message. on the API the limit is 250 new conversations a day before verification, then 1,000, 10,000, 100,000 and unlimited. - [Can WhatsApp Business send bulk messages?](https://app.linkubit.com/whatsapp-faq/can-whatsapp-business-send-bulk-messages): The app sends broadcast lists of up to 256 contacts who have saved your number; the API sends template campaigns to any number of opted-in people within your messaging limit. - [Is WhatsApp bulk messaging legal?](https://app.linkubit.com/whatsapp-faq/is-whatsapp-bulk-messaging-legal): Yes, on the WhatsApp Business API, to people who opted in, with approved templates — that is what Meta's terms and India's DPDP Act both require; unsolicited bulk sending gets the number banned and, under DPDP, is a consent breach. - [How do I send bulk WhatsApp messages to customers?](https://app.linkubit.com/whatsapp-faq/how-to-send-bulk-whatsapp-messages-to-customers): Put the number on the WhatsApp Business API, get a marketing or utility template approved, build an audience of people who opted in, and send within the messaging limit — stopping the sequence for anyone who replies. - [Can WhatsApp Business be used on multiple devices?](https://app.linkubit.com/whatsapp-faq/can-whatsapp-business-be-used-on-multiple-devices): The app allows one phone plus up to four linked devices for the same person; a team of several people answering one number needs the WhatsApp Business API with a shared inbox. - [How do I set an automatic reply on WhatsApp Business?](https://app.linkubit.com/whatsapp-faq/how-to-set-automatic-reply-on-whatsapp-business): In the app: Business tools → Greeting message or Away message, one fixed text each; a reply that answers the customer's actual question needs the WhatsApp Business API and software that reads the message. - [How do I automate WhatsApp Business messages for free?](https://app.linkubit.com/whatsapp-faq/how-to-automate-whatsapp-business-messages-for-free): The app's greeting and away messages are free; anything that answers a question or fires on an event needs the WhatsApp Business API, where the software can be free but Meta charges per message you send. - [Is WhatsApp Business a CRM?](https://app.linkubit.com/whatsapp-faq/is-whatsapp-business-a-crm): No. WhatsApp Business is a messaging app with labels and quick replies; a CRM — contacts with fields, a pipeline, tasks, history across channels — is software on the WhatsApp Business API that treats each chat as a customer record. - [WhatsApp Business app vs API: what is the difference?](https://app.linkubit.com/whatsapp-faq/difference-between-whatsapp-business-app-and-whatsapp-business-platform): The app is a free phone app for one person on one number; the Platform (the API) is Meta's cloud service that lets software — a team inbox, campaigns, an AI — work the number, free to access and charged per message. - [WhatsApp Business vs personal WhatsApp: the difference?](https://app.linkubit.com/whatsapp-faq/difference-between-whatsapp-business-and-personal): WhatsApp Business is a separate free app with a business profile, labels, quick replies, a catalogue, and greeting and away messages; the chats, calls and privacy are the same as personal WhatsApp. - [How do I get the green tick on WhatsApp Business?](https://app.linkubit.com/whatsapp-faq/how-to-get-green-tick-on-whatsapp-business): Complete business verification in your Meta Business Portfolio, put the number on the WhatsApp Business API, then apply for the Official Business Account badge in WhatsApp Manager; Meta grants it to notable businesses and it cannot be bought. - [How do I verify a WhatsApp Business account?](https://app.linkubit.com/whatsapp-faq/how-to-verify-whatsapp-business-account): In your Meta Business Portfolio: Security Centre → Business verification, with the legal name, address, a document that matches it, and a website or email on the business's domain; Meta answers in a few days and the messaging limit rises from 250. - [Why is my WhatsApp Business account restricted?](https://app.linkubit.com/whatsapp-faq/why-is-my-whatsapp-business-account-restricted): Usually because customers blocked or reported the number after messages they did not ask for, dropping the quality rating to red; sometimes a policy breach — a banned category, unofficial tools, a display name that misleads. - [Why is my WhatsApp Business getting banned?](https://app.linkubit.com/whatsapp-faq/why-is-my-whatsapp-business-getting-banned): Bulk messages to people who did not save or consent, unofficial tools automating the app, too many blocks and reports in a short time, or a number Meta judges to be sending spam — the app bans on behaviour, not on volume alone. - [Can you take payments on WhatsApp?](https://app.linkubit.com/whatsapp-faq/can-you-take-payments-on-whatsapp): Yes. In India a business on the WhatsApp Business API can send a payment request the customer pays by UPI or card inside the chat, through a payment configuration set up in WhatsApp Manager; a payment link works everywhere else. - [How do I receive payment on WhatsApp Business?](https://app.linkubit.com/whatsapp-faq/how-to-receive-payment-on-whatsapp-business): On the app in India, Payments lets a customer pay you by UPI in the chat once you add your bank account; on the API, a payment configuration in WhatsApp Manager lets your software send a payment request the customer pays by UPI or card. - [Is a WhatsApp chatbot free?](https://app.linkubit.com/whatsapp-faq/is-whatsapp-chatbot-free): The software can be free on an entry plan, but a chatbot needs the WhatsApp Business API, where Meta charges per message you send; and a bot that automates the consumer app instead is free until the number is banned. - [How does a WhatsApp chatbot work?](https://app.linkubit.com/whatsapp-faq/how-does-whatsapp-chatbot-work): A customer's message reaches the bot as a webhook from the WhatsApp Business API; the bot decides a reply — by matching a flow you drew, or by an AI reading the message — and sends it back through the API inside the customer's 24-hour window. - [What can the WhatsApp Business API do?](https://app.linkubit.com/whatsapp-faq/what-can-whatsapp-business-api-do): Let several people and programs work one WhatsApp number: a shared inbox, template campaigns to opted-in audiences, an assistant that answers and qualifies, payment requests in the chat, ads that open a conversation, and forms inside WhatsApp. - [Do you need a phone number for WhatsApp Business?](https://app.linkubit.com/whatsapp-faq/do-you-need-a-number-for-whatsapp-business): Yes. The app needs a mobile number that receives a code; the WhatsApp Business API needs any number that can receive one code once — a landline, a virtual number or a toll-free number all work — and it must not already be on WhatsApp. - [How do I add a WhatsApp button to Google Business Profile?](https://app.linkubit.com/whatsapp-faq/how-to-add-whatsapp-button-in-google-business-profile): Make a wa.me link for your number with the first message written, then in your Google Business Profile add it as the website or a booking / appointment link; Google shows it as a button on the profile. - [What is a WhatsApp Business number?](https://app.linkubit.com/whatsapp-faq/what-is-whatsapp-business-number): A phone number registered on WhatsApp Business — the app or the API — rather than on personal WhatsApp; it shows a business profile to customers, and on the API it can be a landline or virtual number worked by software. - [How do I get a WhatsApp Business API token?](https://app.linkubit.com/whatsapp-faq/how-to-get-whatsapp-business-api-token): In your Meta Business Portfolio create a system user, assign it the WhatsApp Business Account, and generate a token with the whatsapp_business_messaging and whatsapp_business_management permissions; a provider's Embedded Signup does this for you. - [What is the WhatsApp broadcast message limit?](https://app.linkubit.com/whatsapp-faq/what-is-whatsapp-broadcast-message-limit): On the app a broadcast list holds 256 contacts and reaches only people who saved your number; on the API the limit is business-initiated conversations per 24 hours — 250 before verification, then 1,000, 10,000, 100,000 and unlimited. - [What is a WhatsApp opt-in?](https://app.linkubit.com/whatsapp-faq/what-is-whatsapp-opt-in): The customer's clear agreement to receive WhatsApp messages from your business — a ticked box, a yes in reply, a number given for updates — required by Meta before any marketing template and by India's DPDP Act as recorded consent. - [What is the WhatsApp Cloud API?](https://app.linkubit.com/whatsapp-faq/what-is-whatsapp-cloud-api): The version of the WhatsApp Business Platform that Meta hosts itself, so any business can connect its own account directly without a partner running servers; the older self-hosted On-Premises API has been retired in its favour. - [What are WhatsApp Flows?](https://app.linkubit.com/whatsapp-faq/what-is-whatsapp-flows): Forms that open inside a WhatsApp chat — a booking, a lead form, an application — built in Meta's Flow Builder and attached to a message as a button, so the customer fills several fields on one screen without leaving WhatsApp. ### WhatsApp message templates 127 templates across 22 industries, each on its own page with variables, a filled example and Meta's review pitfalls: https://app.linkubit.com/templates - [WhatsApp Business API](https://app.linkubit.com/glossary/whatsapp-business-api): The WhatsApp Business API (now the WhatsApp Business Platform, or Cloud API) is Meta's programmatic way for a business to send and receive WhatsApp messages through software rather than a phone. It is what lets a team, a CRM or an AI answer on one number. - [WABA (WhatsApp Business Account)](https://app.linkubit.com/glossary/waba): A WABA — WhatsApp Business Account — is the container Meta creates for a business on the WhatsApp Business Platform. It owns the phone numbers, the message templates, the sending limits and the billing; one business portfolio can hold several. - [Phone number ID](https://app.linkubit.com/glossary/phone-number-id): The phone number ID is the identifier Meta gives each WhatsApp number on the Business Platform. Software sends messages to the ID, not to the digits, and an inbound webhook names the ID so the tool knows which number the customer wrote to. - [Embedded Signup](https://app.linkubit.com/glossary/embedded-signup): Embedded Signup is Meta's pop-up flow that connects a business's WhatsApp number to a software tool: you log in to Facebook, pick or create a business portfolio and a WhatsApp account, verify the number by SMS or call, and the tool receives permission to send and receive on it. - [Business Verification](https://app.linkubit.com/glossary/business-verification): Business Verification is Meta checking that a business is real: legal name, address, phone or website, matched against a document such as a GST certificate or a certificate of incorporation. Without it a WhatsApp number is capped at 250 new conversations a day and the display name stays unverified. - [Official Business Account (green tick)](https://app.linkubit.com/glossary/official-business-account): An Official Business Account is a WhatsApp number Meta has marked with a green tick and the business name shown in place of the number. It is granted at Meta's discretion to notable brands; Business Verification is required but does not guarantee it. - [Messaging limit (tiers)](https://app.linkubit.com/glossary/messaging-limit): The messaging limit is how many unique customers a WhatsApp number may start a conversation with in a rolling 24 hours: 250 before Business Verification, then 1,000, 10,000, 100,000 and unlimited as the number sends at volume with a good quality rating. Replies to customers who wrote first never count. - [Quality rating](https://app.linkubit.com/glossary/quality-rating): The quality rating is Meta's green, yellow or red score for a WhatsApp number, based on how customers react to its messages over the last seven days — blocks, reports and the reasons given. Red for long enough lowers the messaging limit or pauses the number. - [BSP (Business Solution Provider)](https://app.linkubit.com/glossary/bsp): A BSP, or Business Solution Provider, is a company Meta has listed as a partner for the WhatsApp Business Platform. Historically the only way to get the API; since the Cloud API, any tool with an approved Meta app can connect a number, and the badge mostly signals scale rather than access. - [Meta Business Portfolio](https://app.linkubit.com/glossary/meta-business-portfolio): A Meta Business Portfolio (formerly Business Manager) is the top-level account that holds a business's Facebook Pages, Instagram accounts, ad accounts and WhatsApp Business Accounts, and the people allowed to work on them. Every WhatsApp number on the API sits inside one. - [24-hour window (customer service window)](https://app.linkubit.com/glossary/24-hour-window): The 24-hour window opens each time a customer messages a business on WhatsApp and closes 24 hours after their last message. Inside it the business may send any free-form message; outside it, only an approved template can be sent, at the template's price. - [Message template](https://app.linkubit.com/glossary/message-template): A message template is a pre-approved WhatsApp message a business may send outside the 24-hour window. Meta reviews the wording once; the business then sends it any number of times with the variables — a name, an order number, a date — filled in per customer. - [Utility template](https://app.linkubit.com/glossary/utility-template): A utility template is a WhatsApp message about something the customer already asked for or bought — an order confirmation, a delivery update, an appointment reminder, a payment receipt. It is the cheapest business-initiated category (₹0.115 per message in India) and Meta reclassifies it as marketing if the wording promotes anything. - [Marketing template](https://app.linkubit.com/glossary/marketing-template): A marketing template is any business-initiated WhatsApp message that promotes: an offer, a launch, a reminder to finish a purchase, a newsletter. It is the most expensive category (₹0.86 per message in India), needs the customer's opt-in, and is the one Meta pauses first when quality drops. - [Authentication template](https://app.linkubit.com/glossary/authentication-template): An authentication template carries a one-time code — for a login, a sign-up, a transaction. Meta writes the body for you (the code as {{1}} plus a fixed sentence), offers a copy-code or one-tap button, and charges ₹0.115 per message in India. - [Service conversation](https://app.linkubit.com/glossary/service-conversation): A service conversation is one the customer started: they messaged the business, the 24-hour window opened, and the business replied with free-form messages. Free in India until 2026-10-01; from then each business reply inside the window is charged ₹0.115. - [Opt-in (consent)](https://app.linkubit.com/glossary/opt-in): An opt-in is the customer's clear agreement to receive WhatsApp messages from a business — a ticked box on a form, a reply to a message, a number typed into a sign-up. Meta requires one before any marketing template is sent and may ask a business to show how it was collected. - [Opt-out (STOP)](https://app.linkubit.com/glossary/opt-out): An opt-out is the customer saying stop — 'STOP', 'unsubscribe', 'बंद करो', or a tap on an opt-out button — after which a business may not send them marketing. A good tool records it in any language, applies it before every send, and keeps the record even if the contact is deleted. - [Interactive message (buttons and lists)](https://app.linkubit.com/glossary/interactive-message): An interactive message is a WhatsApp message with buttons the customer taps instead of typing: up to three reply buttons, or a list of up to ten options behind one button. Sent inside the 24-hour window as a free-form message; a tap comes back as a normal reply. - [WhatsApp Flows](https://app.linkubit.com/glossary/whatsapp-flows): WhatsApp Flows are forms that open inside a WhatsApp chat — a booking form, a lead form, a survey — built in Meta's Flow Builder and attached to a message as a button. The customer fills it without leaving the chat, and the answers come back to the business as structured data. - [Catalog message (product message)](https://app.linkubit.com/glossary/catalog-message): A catalog message shows products from a business's WhatsApp catalogue inside the chat — one product, or up to thirty in sections — with a name, a price, a picture and a button to add to a cart. The catalogue is set up in Commerce Manager and linked to the WhatsApp number. - [Click-to-chat link (wa.me)](https://app.linkubit.com/glossary/click-to-chat-link): A click-to-chat link is a URL — https://wa.me/ followed by a number with its country code — that opens a WhatsApp chat with that number in one tap. Add ?text= and a message to pre-fill the customer's first line. It works on any phone with WhatsApp installed and on WhatsApp Web. - [Webhook](https://app.linkubit.com/glossary/webhook): A webhook is how Meta tells a business's software that something happened on WhatsApp: a message arrived, a message was delivered or read, a template was approved. Meta sends an HTTP request to a URL the software registered; the software answers and acts on it. - [Click-to-WhatsApp ad (CTWA)](https://app.linkubit.com/glossary/click-to-whatsapp-ad): A Click-to-WhatsApp ad is a Facebook or Instagram ad whose button opens a WhatsApp chat with the business instead of a website. The customer's first message arrives with the ad's ID attached, so the business knows which ad brought them, and replies are free for 72 hours. - [Lead form ad (Meta lead generation)](https://app.linkubit.com/glossary/lead-form-ad): A lead form ad is a Facebook or Instagram ad that opens a short form inside the app — name, phone, a question or two — pre-filled from the person's profile. The submissions land in Meta's Leads Center and, through the API, in whatever CRM the business connects. - [Conversions API (offline conversions)](https://app.linkubit.com/glossary/conversions-api): The Conversions API is how a business tells Meta what happened after the click — a lead was qualified, a deal was won — from its own systems rather than a browser pixel. Google's equivalent is the Data Manager API. Reported outcomes let the ad platform optimise for customers, not clicks. - [Attribution](https://app.linkubit.com/glossary/attribution): Attribution is working out which ad, campaign or channel a customer came from, and crediting the revenue to it. It is only as good as the trail: a click ID on the landing URL, a referral on the first WhatsApp message, a code in a Google ad, and a record that keeps them all on one person. - [Touchpoint](https://app.linkubit.com/glossary/touchpoint): A touchpoint is one recorded contact between a person and the business: an ad click, a message either way, a form submission, a product sent, a payment. Attribution, follow-up timing and the customer timeline are all read from the list of touchpoints, which is why it is kept complete and never edited. - [Speed to lead](https://app.linkubit.com/glossary/speed-to-lead): Speed to lead is the time between a customer's first message and the business's first real reply. Under a minute, the customer is still in the conversation; after an hour, they have usually asked somebody else. It is the single number that most changes how many enquiries become sales. - [Lead qualification](https://app.linkubit.com/glossary/lead-qualification): Lead qualification is deciding whether an enquiry is worth a salesperson's time, by learning a few facts — what they want, when, for how much, whether they can decide. A qualified lead has answered those; a disqualified one has answered them the wrong way; everyone else is still being asked. - [Lifecycle stage](https://app.linkubit.com/glossary/lifecycle-stage): A lifecycle stage is where a contact stands with the business: new, qualified, proposal, won, lost — the names are the business's own. Moving a contact forward can require facts (no 'proposal' without a budget), and the pipeline board's columns are the same stages, so a contact and its deal never disagree. - [Pipeline (deals and opportunities)](https://app.linkubit.com/glossary/pipeline): A pipeline is the list of deals in progress, each with a value, a stage and an owner, usually shown as columns on a board. A deal (or opportunity) is a customer's specific intent to buy something: the products they asked about, at the catalogue price, moving from first contact to paid. - [Customer record (contact)](https://app.linkubit.com/glossary/customer-record): A customer record is one person, once: their WhatsApp number, email and Instagram handle on the same row, every conversation on any channel in one thread, every ad click, form, deal and payment on one timeline. Two records for one person is the bug a CRM exists to prevent. - [Shared inbox (team inbox)](https://app.linkubit.com/glossary/shared-inbox): A shared inbox is one queue of conversations from every channel — WhatsApp, email, Instagram DM, Messenger — that a whole team works from, with an owner per conversation, a note of who is typing, and the customer's record beside the thread. It replaces one phone passed around the office. - [Human handover (takeover)](https://app.linkubit.com/glossary/human-handover): Human handover is an automated conversation being passed to a person — because the customer asked, because a rule said so (a refund, a complaint, a price outside the list), or because a person chose to step in. The AI goes quiet on that thread until it is handed back. - [AI sales agent (vs chatbot)](https://app.linkubit.com/glossary/ai-sales-agent): An AI sales agent reads a customer's message and answers it — in their language, from the business's own knowledge and catalogue — then asks the qualifying questions, writes the answers onto the lead and moves it forward. A chatbot walks a customer through a menu somebody drew; an agent has the conversation. - [Drip campaign (sequence)](https://app.linkubit.com/glossary/drip-campaign): A drip campaign is a series of messages sent on a schedule — day 0, day 3, day 7 — to people who have not yet replied, stopping the moment they do. On WhatsApp each step is a template; on email each is a mail from the business's own domain with a reply address a person reads. - [DPDP Act (India's data protection law)](https://app.linkubit.com/glossary/dpdp): The Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 is India's law on personal data: a business needs a lawful basis (usually consent) to process it, must tell people what it collects and why, must delete it when asked or when the purpose ends, and must keep it safe. For a business messaging customers, it is the reason opt-ins and erasure requests exist. - [Credit (Linkubit)](https://app.linkubit.com/glossary/credit): In Linkubit one credit is one AI reply: the agent reads the customer's message and answers it. Lighter work costs a fraction of one — campaign messages, emails, minutes of a voice note, pages of knowledge — and messages coming in, your team replying, and reading your own data cost nothing. Meta's per-message fee is separate and billed by Meta to you. - [Reverse trial](https://app.linkubit.com/glossary/reverse-trial): A reverse trial starts a new account on a paid plan's features for a fixed time and then lands it on the free plan rather than switching it off. Linkubit's is fourteen days of Pro with no card; afterwards the workspace continues on Free with everything set up still in place. - [Agent rule (Linkubit)](https://app.linkubit.com/glossary/agent-rule): An agent rule is a line the AI cannot cross, enforced in code before an action and before a reply leaves: no discounts beyond the ones listed, no price not read from the catalogue, hand refunds to a person, never promise a delivery date. A rule the agent would like changed becomes a request for a human — it can draft one and can never approve one. ### हिन्दी The same product, in Hindi: the front door, the pricing, and the guides and industry pages below.
